Reliance Jio’s Q4 revenue grew 24% to ₹4,173 cr | Techno Glob


Telecom giant Reliance Jio registered double-digit growth in the quarter ended March 31. The telecom’s 4th quarter revenue was up 24% on its own. 4173 million compared to the profit of 3,360 million in the same quarter last year.

On a sequential basis, Jio’s PAT grew by 15%.

Generated independent income from operations 20,901 crore compared to Q4FY22, an increase of 20.4% 17,358 million during the same period a year ago. Q4 revenue posted single-digit growth of 8.03% sequentially.

During the quarter, the company’s APRU was in position 167.6 per subscriber per month, which is 21.3% year-on-year and 10.5% growth.

In 4Q22, total data traffic was 24.6 billion GB, while voice traffic grew 16.8% to 1.2 trillion minutes.

Further, the company’s gross subscriber additions remained strong and stood at 35.5 million in 4QFY22 with steady traction in its mobility and FTTH businesses.

As of March 31, 2022, the company’s total customer base is 410.2 million. Total data traffic grew 46.3% year-over-year to 91.4 billion GB, while total voice traffic grew 17.9% year-over-year to 4.51 trillion minutes.

For a full year, the PAT jumped on its own 14,817 million against 12,015 million in the 21st financial year. Income increased 76,977 million compared to March 31, 2022 69,888 million by March 31, 2021.

On a consolidated basis, FY22 PAT was flat 14,854 crore against 12,071 million in the 21st financial year. Income will come 77.356 million against 70 127 mln.
