Police release TTC security video of man wanted in Scarborough sexual assault investigation | Techno Glob


The Toronto Police Service (TPS) has released security camera footage of a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Scarborough.

The alleged assault happened Wednesday evening in the area of ​​Pharmacy Avenue and Corinthian Boulevard, just south of Finch Avenue East.

A 19-year-old woman got off the TTC bus and was followed by an unidentified man who was on the same bus and got off at the same stop, police said.

The man allegedly tailed the woman while riding a bicycle and sexually assaulted her.

Police said the woman managed to run away from him, but the man continued to chase her on foot.

He caught her and again accused her of sexually assaulting him.

Police said the woman later managed to escape and get away from the man.

TTC security video, released by police on Sunday, is from the inside of the bus and shows the suspect standing at the back door of the bus with a bicycle.

Police describe the man as black, 18 to 20 years old, five foot nine, with a medium build.

According to police, he was last seen wearing a dark thin jacket with a dark colored mountain bike.
