Drishyam 2 Box Office Seventh Day: Film Enters 100 Crore Club | Bollywood | Techno Glob

Abhishek Pathak directed drama 2 has entered 100 crore club within a week of its release. The film starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu together 8.62 crore on the seventh day of its release, taking its total domestic box office collection 104.66 crore film also stars Shreya Saran, Akshay Khanna, Ishita Dutta and Saurabh Shukla. The film is a sequel to Ajay’s 2015 crime thriller Drashiyam, which was a Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam film of the same name. The sequel of the Malayalam film was released in February 2021. It was created by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishna Kumar. The film is presented by Viacom18 Studios, T-Series and Panorama Studios.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​shared a poster of the film featuring the lead actors. Ajay’s character, Vijay Salgavankar, in the 2015 film Drishyam, convinces everyone that their family went on vacation, leading to a brilliant plan to save his family from being convicted of murder. In Darshyam 2, Ajay reprises his role as Vijay. The story depicts a journey that leaves the audience wondering what his path might be this time. Tabu Meera Deshmukh reprises his role as the Inspector General of Police. The film released on 18 November.

The film saw the second biggest opening for Bollywood this year after Kamai 15.38 crore at the domestic box office on its first day of release. It beat the opening day collection of Akshay Kumar’s Ram Sethu.
